The Story
Busy was killing me. Seven minutes changed that.
I was forty-one, a full-time working mother and a successful financial advisor, and my life sped past in a blur of deadlines and obligations. By every outside measure I was winning. Inside, I wanted my life to matter — and I could not find the room to make it.
“During a team-building exercise, I was asked to write down my purpose. For the first time in a long time, I stopped moving long enough to answer the question. That single moment of clarity changed the direction of my life.”
In 2006, while still working in financial services, I founded The 7 Minute Life around one central belief: lasting change rarely comes from one dramatic overhaul. It comes from small, intentional actions repeated with purpose and discipline. I spent the following years teaching that principle to thousands of people. I wrote books, created planning systems and helped individuals and organizations prioritize, organize and simplify their work.
“I spent more than 30 years helping people reclaim their time before I ever wrote a single AI prompt. AI is simply the most powerful tool I have ever had to do it.”
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS TO ME
Experience is an advantage in the AI era.
I am 65+ years old, a mother of two and a grandmother. I believe that is part of my story—not a footnote to it. Much of the AI conversation is driven by the newest technology and the people building it. That work matters. But organizations also need judgment, context and someone who understands how change affects the people expected to carry it forward.
I bring decades of experience, a calm head and a deep belief that technology should serve people rather than leave them behind.
AI should help people think more clearly, work more purposefully and spend less time buried under tasks that keep them from doing their most meaningful work.
